Job summary

Ashburn Consulting LLC seeks a technical engineer to support FEMA CCD continuity communications from Mount Weather EOC. You will analyze, design, implement, and maintain terrestrial and wireless telecom networks, focusing on Cisco core infrastructure and secure communications.

Requirements include active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, CCNA, and 3–5 years in telecom/ RF engineering. On-site at Mount Weather and travel as needed for exercises and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility or willingness to obtain.
• CCNA certification verifiable at submission.
• 3–5 years hands-on telecommunications, network, RF, field-engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, implement, test, and maintain terrestrial/wireless telecom systems and networks.
• Configure and support Cisco routers, switches, servers, and related services.
• Operate and troubleshoot HF/VHF/UHF radios, satellite, Wi‑Fi, encrypted and non‑encrypted comms.
