Job summary

TC Energy in the Cambridge area is seeking a Multiskilled Technician to support the operation and maintenance of our natural gas facilities. You will work with high‑pressure gas pipelines, gas measurement, and related control systems, residing within 30 miles of the reporting location to meet emergency response requirements.

This role requires self‑motivation, strong problem solving and communication skills, and the ability to read diagrams and manuals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Electrical, instrumentation, and controls experience in a related industry.
• Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, test, repair, operate, and maintain power, process controls, PLCs, and related electrical systems.
• Maintain PLCs, valves, transmitters, regulators, and gas measurement equipment.
• Read and interpret diagrams, P&IDs, and instruction manuals to install and troubleshoot equipment.
• Plan and perform maintenance and safety tasks for gas facilities and associated equipment.
