Job summary

Uniphar | Medical is seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison to support the Mid-Atlantic territory (MD, DC, VA, NC, GA) in Orthopedics / Musculoskeletal / Rheumatology / Sports Medicine.

The MSL will build peer-to-peer scientific relationships, present clinical data, travel up to 60% and collaborate with Medical Affairs, Commercial, and Market Access to advance medical objectives. A clinical advanced degree is preferred and 1–2 years MSL experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific or clinical degree strongly preferred (PharmD, PhD, MD/DO, NP or PA).
• Minimum 1–2 years of MSL experience preferred; relevant Medical Affairs experience considered.
• Experience in Orthopedics, Musculoskeletal Medicine, Rheumatology, Sports Medicine, Orthobiologics, Advanced Wound Care, Dermatology or Medical Devices preferred.
• Strong ability to interpret and communicate clinical and scientific data to diverse audiences.
• Excellent presentation, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain peer-to-peer scientific relationships with physicians, surgeons, researchers and other stakeholders.
• Serve as field-based Medical Affairs contact and provide accurate clinical information.
• Engage KOLs and therapeutic area experts across the territory.
• Present clinical and scientific data at regional and national meetings and congresses.
• Support discussions around product use and health-economic data.
• Identify Investigator-Initiated Study opportunities and potential clinical investigators.
• Participate in scientific advisory boards and support national/regional conferences.
• Develop scientific/educational materials and communicate field insights to internal teams.
