Job summary

Uniphar is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for the West region (CA, AZ & NV) to act as a field-based scientific expert. The role focuses on Orthopedics, Musculoskeletal, Rheumatology and Sports Medicine, building peer-to-peer relationships with physicians, researchers and KOLs.

The MSL will present data at meetings, support medical affairs objectives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while traveling roughly 60% of the time.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD/DO, NP, PA or equivalent) preferred.
• 1–2 years MSL experience preferred.
• Experience in Orthopedics, Musculoskeletal Medicine, Rheumatology or Sports Medicine preferred.
• Ability to travel around 60% to field locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop peer-to-peer scientific relationships with physicians and researchers.
• Serve as field-based Medical Affairs contact with accurate, balanced clinical information.
• Engage KOLs and therapeutic area experts across the assigned territory.
• Present clinical and scientific data at regional and national meetings and congresses.
• Support discussions around product use and relevant clinical and health-economic data.
• Identify and support Investigator-Initiated Study opportunities.
• Identify potential clinical investigators in alignment with Medical Affairs objectives.
• Participate in and lead scientific advisory boards.
• Provide Medical Affairs support at conferences and congresses.
• Develop scientific/educational materials such as slide decks and monographs.
• Gather and communicate field insights to Medical Affairs stakeholders.
• Partner cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Commercial, Marketing and Market Access.
