Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Medical Science Liaison in Oncology (GI, Breast, Melanoma) to engage Thought Leaders and HCPs, translating data into clinical insights for patient care. This field-based role requires extensive external engagement and collaboration with cross-functional partners.

The role emphasizes scientific exchange, trial awareness, and collaboration with societies and PAGs to advance medical strategy and product lifecycle programs.

Qualifications

• Must hold an advanced scientific or clinical degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, NP, PA, or equivalent).
• Experience in a scientific, clinical, or research environment is required.
• Strong oncology experience is required (GI experience preferred).
• Field medical experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of trial design, publications, data interpretation, regulatory requirements, and healthcare systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain trusted relationships with academic and community Thought Leaders.
• Engage in scientific dialogue to inform medical strategy and product lifecycle management.
• Deliver educational presentations in person and virtual settings.
• Collaborate with medical societies, patient advocacy groups, and guideline committees.
• Provide training and support for external speakers as needed.
• Support payer engagement during pre- and peri-launch phases.
