Job summary

Douglas Machine Inc. in Minnesota seeks a Project Application Engineer to evaluate modification opportunities, prepare quotations, and support project qualification with on-site customer engagement.

You will collaborate with Sales and Engineering to manage schedules, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction through project acceptance, aligning customer needs with Douglas’s capabilities.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review RFPs to determine technology fit and pursue projects.
• Travel to customer sites as needed to support quoting and qualification.
• Partner with sales to develop proposals and follow up with customers.
• Serve as a technical resource for customers during project development.
• Prepare formal quotations and respond to changes in specifications.
• Develop and manage formal project schedules from order to acceptance.
• Coordinate with payments, warranty, and integration issues to ensure project success.
• Provide timely updates to customers and leadership; escalate critical issues.
