Job summary

National Seating & Mobility (NSM) is seeking a field-based technician to service seating and mobility equipment across branch, field, clinic, school, and care-home settings. You will assemble products per specifications, manage inventory, and handle shipping/receiving while delivering equipment and training to customers.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass drug and background checks.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 pounds (with or without accommodation).
• Must pass drug and background check.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalency certificate.

Responsibilities

• Responds to service calls and makes quality repairs in various environments (branch, field, clinic, schools, care homes).
• Assembles seating, mobility, ADL and home accessibility equipment per specs.
• Provides inventory control for all items processed in the branch.
• Manages shipping and receiving of parts and equipment.
• Delivers equipment as directed by Branch operations and Field leads, including fitting and training.
• Provides Technical Support to Rehab Technology Specialist as needed.
