TEN (Transportation Equipment Network) is seeking a Mobile Semi-Trailer Technician/Service Mechanic in Edwardsville, IL. You will travel to client sites to inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair trailers across a range of systems, delivering high-quality field service for a North American fleet leader.

Qualifications

• Experience in trailer maintenance or repair on commercial fleets.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills are essential.
• Experience with welding, brake systems, suspension, and electrical repair.
• Ability to work independently in a mobile service environment.
• Strong attention to safety and accuracy with tools and documentation.
• Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Respond to mobile service calls and complete on-site trailer repairs.
• Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot trailer issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair and replace trailer components (brake, suspension, electrical, floors/frames).
• Weld and fabricate as required.
• Complete work orders and maintain service vehicle inventory.
• Ensure safety/compliance standards and maintain a clean work area.
