Job summary

H.L. Chapman Pipeline Construction, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Construction Mechanic (CDL required) based in the Austin area.

The role travels to project sites throughout the San Antonio area to diagnose and repair heavy equipment, ensuring safe, reliable operation in variable outdoor conditions. Starting pay is $29.00 per hour, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have Class B CDL and be able to perform field repairs, with good troubleshooting skills and the stamina to work outdoors

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing heavy construction equipment in field settings.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and drive-train issues.
• Experience with CDL-based vehicle operation for job-site travel.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment issues and perform in-field repairs.
