Job summary

Heritage Truck Equipment is seeking a full-time Mobile Service Technician to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems on Heritage-manufactured trucks and equipment. The role involves on-site service within a two-hour area and requires strong problem-solving and customer communication skills.

The ideal candidate has willingness to learn, a solid work ethic, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

Willingness to learn our products and systems.
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Clean driving record.
Basic understanding of 12-volt electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and PTOs.
Welding and fabrication experience is a plus, but not required—we provide on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical issues on heavy- and medium-duty trucks and roll-off equipment.
Travel within an approximate two-hour service area to perform on-site repairs.
Coordinate service appointments with customers and dealerships.
Learn every stage of our truck-building process at Heritage Truck Equipment headquarters in Hartville, OH.
Operate a fully equipped service truck with secure tool storage, onboard air, specialty tools, and a welder/generator.
