Job summary

Heritage Truck Equipment is looking for a full-time Mobile Service Technician to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems on Heritage-manufactured heavy- and medium-duty dump trucks and roll-off equipment. You will travel within an approximately two-hour service area to perform on-site repairs and coordinate with customers and dealerships to schedule service visits.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn our products and systems.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Basic understanding of 12-volt electrical systems.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus, but not required—we provide on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues on heavy- and medium-duty dump trucks and roll-off equipment.
• Travel throughout an approximate two-hour service area to perform on-site repairs.
• Communicate directly with customers and dealerships to coordinate service appointments and repairs.
• Participate in hands-on training at Heritage Truck Equipment's headquarters in Hartville, Ohio, learning every stage of our truck-building process.
• Operate a new one-ton fully equipped service truck with secure tool storage, onboard air, specialty tools, and an engine-driven welder/generator.

Heritage Truck Equipment is looking for a full-time Mobile Service Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you'll diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems on Heritage-manufactured heavy- and medium-duty dump trucks and roll-off equipment.
