Job summary

Pape’ Kenworth in Federal Way, WA is seeking a Mobile Truck Technician / Mechanic to service medium and heavy‑duty class 7 & 8 trucks at customer sites. You will diagnose, repair, and rebuild engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical and air systems to keep fleets running.

Requires 3+ years of field experience, Kenworth Essentials certifications preferred, and a valid Class A CDL preferred. You will be paid hourly with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth within a reputable,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working on medium/heavy-duty class 7/8 trucks with engine, electrical, HVAC and chassis repair.
• Kenworth Essentials certifications preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge; Cummins MX software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in the field at customer locations on medium/heavy‑duty trucks to diagnose and repair
• Repair or rebuild systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, electricals and air systems
• Maintain and service trucks to minimize downtime and extend vehicle life
• Deliver safe, high‑quality workmanship and clear communication with customers
