Job summary

Schneider National, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician based in Shoemakersville. In this full-time role, you will perform on-site maintenance on trucks, containers, and trailers, working from a service truck stocked with necessary tools.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in diesel technology or related field, or a minimum of 1 year of diesel technician experience.
• Able to provide own tools within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform on‑site maintenance, including tire changes, electrical repairs, engine repairs, and welding jobs.
• Complete inspections, diagnoses, and work estimations.
• Communicate status updates to Schneider drivers and internal customers.

Skills

Technical degree in diesel technology or related field

1 year of diesel technician experience

Valid driver's license

Valid DOT medical card

Basic welding skills

Computer systems and diagnostic software experience

Ability to work independently

Ability to provide own tools

Education
