Job Summary:

You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Essential Job Functions:

Millwright:

  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of machinery.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.

Welding:

  • Perform various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) on a variety of materials.
  • Ensure welding projects meet industry standards and specifications.
  • Inspect and test welds for quality and safety.
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools.

Safety:

  • Adhere to all safety guidelines, protocols, and procedures.
  • Promote and maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your team.

Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Provide timely reports and updates to supervisors and clients.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Millwright and Welder.
  • Welding certification (e.g., AWS, ASME) preferred.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safety and quality.
