Job summary

Conservice is hiring a Meter Technician to install, service, and troubleshoot submeters for water, gas, and electricity across multifamily properties. This hands-on field role requires frequent travel and overtime, with a company vehicle provided for work purposes.

The position emphasizes reliability, safety, and professional interaction with property owners and staff. Training is provided; candidates must pass background and drug screenings and maintain compliance with OSHA-10 requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations in 24 months and no DUI/DWI/reckless driving violations in 5 years.
• REAL ID-compliant license or ID for air travel.
• Background check after conditional offer; work inside residents' homes with company inventory.
• Pre-employment drug screen; must remain drug- and alcohol-free; ongoing testing.
• OSHA-10 certification at hire or within 90 days.
• Ability to meet schedule, overtime, travel, physical, and vehicle-care requirements; reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, calibrate, and replace water, gas, and electric submeters and communication systems at multifamily properties and select locations.
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot meter performance, connectivity, and data transmission; repair or replace faulty equipment.
• Maintain accurate field records; upload work orders, photos, and notes daily; follow safety SOPs.
