Job summary

ELM Utility Services, a nationwide employer, seeks a motivated Meter Maintenance Technician to service Santaquin, Utah. You will inspect meter sets, remove corrosion, repaint equipment, and manage daily routes using a company vehicle as a mobile office.

This role requires weekend on-call availability, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. Wages start at $23.00/hour with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Availability for weekend on-call duties and overtime as needed.
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.
• Ability to work in on-call rotation and nights/weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Work independently in the field using a company vehicle as a mobile office.
• Complete assigned routes and service requests daily.
• Inspect meter sets, perform maintenance including corrosion removal and repainting.
• Manage time effectively to stay on schedule and meet quality standards.
• Adapt to changing conditions and handle challenges as they arise.
