Job Description

Our Field Merchandising Supervisor will be responsible for assisting the District Managers in their area of responsibility while overseeing a group of select stores. The Field Merchandising Supervisor will assist with hiring and selection of the team and train, coach, and develop in merchandising concepts, sales techniques, policy and procedures. This position requires having the ability to travel to a variety of stores, assist in hiring and training the team and ensure adherence to all programs and standards set forth by the company.

Reports to: District Manager
Major Responsibilities
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required
  • Work with the District Manager to execute business plans and achieve organizational goals.
  • Execute store activities and operations to meet standards and sales targets.
  • Coach and develop merchandisers to improve customer service, selling skills, and productivity.
  • Serve as a liaison between District Manager, customers, and merchandisers.
  • Build relationships with Building Managers and Office Staff.
  • Provide feedback on product quality and sales trends.
  • Market the special-order service in the community and track orders.
  • Work at locations to cover days off, sick days, and vacations.
  • Maximize performance through effective store scheduling.
Qualifications
  • Two or four-year degree in Business Management or related field.
  • Retail and merchandising experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Leadership and management skills, including scheduling and sales analysis.
  • Basic computer skills: Word, Excel, email.
  • Own phone and computer required.
Essential Functions
  • Flexible long hours, including weekends.
  • Ability to travel between stores using personal transportation.
Physical Demands
  • Lift/push/pull 20-50 pounds.
  • Bending, lifting, walking, standing, twisting.
  • Repetitive hand/wrist movements.
  • Limited sitting.
  • Long-distance driving ability.
