Reports to: District Manager

Job Description:

Our Field Merchandising Supervisor will be responsible for assisting the District Managers in their area of responsibility while overseeing a group of select stores. The role involves hiring, training, coaching, and developing team members in merchandising concepts, sales techniques, policies, and procedures. The position requires travel to various stores, supporting hiring and training efforts, and ensuring compliance with company standards. The Supervisor will help exceed budgetary objectives by driving sales, reducing shrink, measuring scanning accuracy, and achieving gross profit and labor goals.

Major Responsibilities:

1. Bilingual English/Spanish required.
2. Collaborate with the District Manager to execute business plans and achieve targets.
3. Manage store activities to meet standards and sales goals.
4. Coach and develop Merchandisers for outstanding customer service and sales productivity.
5. Act as a liaison between the District Manager, customers, and merchandisers.
6. Build relationships with Building Managers and Office Staff.
7. Provide feedback on product quality and sales trends.
8. Market special-order services and track orders.
9. Work at locations to cover absences and maximize performance via scheduling.

Qualifications:

1. Two or four-year degree in Business Management or related field.
2. Retail and merchandising experience.
3. Strong communication and leadership skills.
4. Knowledge of scheduling, payroll, and sales analysis.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and personal devices.

Physical and Other Requirements:

• Ability to work long, flexible hours, including weekends.
• Ability to travel using personal transportation.
• Lift/push/pull 20-50 pounds; perform physical movements like bending, stooping, walking, standing, twisting.
• Repetitive hand/wrist movements; limited sitting.
