Job summary

Team Modern, a family-owned wholesale distributor serving convenience stores, is seeking a Convenience Store Sales Support Specialist in Eastern Kentucky. You will travel daily to customer stores to improve product presentation, inventory availability, and the overall shopping experience.

Responsibilities include setting and resetting merchandise, executing planograms, monitoring inventory, and collaborating with store managers on layouts. Full-time role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to obtain a medical card to operate a small box truck; Team Modern will cover the cost.
• Ability to travel daily and occasionally overnight.
• Strong organization, time-management, and communication skills.
• Professional and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Adapt to changing schedules and customer needs.
• Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and related technology.
• Merchandising, retail, convenience store, grocery, or inventory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set, reset, arrange, tag, and replenish merchandise in customer stores.
• Execute planograms and visual merchandising standards accurately.
• Maintain organized, properly signed, rotated, and visually appealing displays.
• Monitor inventory and help reduce out-of-stocks.
• Recommend new products based on customer and store needs.
• Process eligible product returns and customer credits.
• Work with store managers to improve layouts, displays, and product placement.
• Travel daily throughout assigned territory; occasional overnight travel.
• Most work will take place inside customer stores rather than from home.
