Job summary

Johnson Brothers Liquor Company is seeking a Merchandiser to support our Chain Retail Division in Texas. The role involves delivering orders, stocking shelves, rotating stock, and building displays to maximize product exposure.

You will follow routes from the Warehouse Manager, travel within designated territories, maintain accurate logs, and communicate customer needs to management. Strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work flexible hours are essential.

Qualifications

• Education – High School diploma required.
• Experience – 1 year of warehouse experience preferred; inventory control a plus.
• Fork Lift certification is a benefit.
• Lift and carry a 40+ pound case of wine.
• Flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends.
• Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated and able to work solo or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Management of Retail Specialists.
• Accurately deliver and check orders in to accounts.
• Place product on shelves or in displays for maximum exposure.
• Ensure merchandising per procedures, rotate stock, and display correct pricing/POS materials.
• Communicate effectively to resolve ordering or shipping needs within territory.
• Keep accurate daily and weekly logs of accounts visited.
• Arrive to work, appointments and meetings on time.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Must be able to travel within established geographic areas.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
