Job summary

Core-Mark International in Laughlin, NV is seeking a non-managerial Merchandiser to support convenience store partners by implementing product displays, maintaining planograms, and ensuring locations are properly merchandised for sales.

This field-based role requires daily use of your own vehicle, a Monday–Friday schedule starting between 6 AM and 9 AM, and a commitment to customer service and reliable performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 6+ months of merchandising experience, stocking and/or client-facing customer service.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and proper valid insurance.
• Must be able to frequently lift products weighing from 5-25 lbs. throughout the day.
• Must be able to lift a case of product or tote which could weigh up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Drive daily to assigned customer locations using your vehicle.
• Meet with store owners and staff to assess needs and deliver high-quality merchandising support.
• Place and organize merchandise in designated display areas, following detailed planograms to ensure all product placements align with Core-Mark standards.
• Set up and reset store fixtures, shelves, and displays. Remove discontinued or outdated products as needed.
• Provide stocking, pricing, shelf-facing, product rotation, and routine shelf and product cleaning.
• Monitor product performance using sales velocity reports supplied by the company and suggest discontinuing or replacing specific items in each store to help boost sales and profits.
• Monitor potential account problems and elevate concerns to Sales Representatives or Sales Managers.
• Ensure store aisles remain clean and safe for shoppers and store staff.
• Build and sustain strong customer relationships by delivering outstanding customer service and resolving concerns professionally.
• Maintain and care for assigned equipment.
• Accurately complete and submit timesheets and activity logs.
• Perform additional merchandising or operational tasks assigned by leadership.
