Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a product merchandiser to stock shelves, rotate products, and set up displays in large-volume stores. The role involves lifting cases, operating equipment, and moving products from backrooms to the sales floor, with regular field visits across assigned locations.

This labor-intensive position requires driving to multiple stores with a standard schedule and a focus on customer service, store relations, and adherence to company procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising and stocking in retail environments.
• Ability to move products within a store using equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized backrooms and shelves.
• Build relationships with store staff and management.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise store shelving, coolers and displays with products in assigned accounts.
• Rotate products in the backroom and on the shelf.
• Transport products to and from backroom to shelf location.
• Use equipment to transport products (e.g., U Boats, hand trucks, pallet jacks).
• Display promotional material such as signs and banners in accounts.
• Keep back room stock in neat and orderly condition.
• Communicate store issues to store managers and Pepsi management.
• Build customer relationships at the store level.
• Comply with operating procedures and service accounts as scheduled.
• Deliver customer service and attentiveness to customer needs.
