Job summary

Core-Mark, a Performance Food Group Company, is seeking a Merchandiser to price and set up customer stores across Michigan and Northern Ohio. The role includes using a Telxon unit, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining planograms.

The position requires a valid driver's license, 6+ months of merchandising experience, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. It offers a Monday–Friday schedule starting at 7am with travel and potential overnights, including paid hotel per diem.

Qualifications

• 6+ months merchandising experience.
• Experience using Planogram.
• Valid Driver's license with clean driving record.
• Self-motivated, self-starter & detail oriented.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Customer service skills.
• Frequent activity - will lift products weighing 5-25 lbs. and up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Train new merchandisers on proper pricing and shelving.
• Create customer store layouts, place orders via Telxon, arrange delivery, and price/merchandise at the store.
• Submit reimbursable forms (travel, auto, gas, per diem, hotel).
• Participate in company events by setting up displays.
• Record unsalable merchandise for credit.
• Assist in delivering and unloading orders/returns.
• Maintain inventory of merchandising supplies (tags, hooks, labels).
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
