Job summary

Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. is seeking a Medical Science Liaison to develop and maintain professional relationships with national and regional healthcare leaders, providing medical and scientific support for DS I initiatives.

This US field-based role covers IL, IN, MI with travel to support medical education and engagement activities. The MSL will educate healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders, contribute to clinical research programs, and help shape medical and brand strategies while

Qualifications

• PharmD, MD, PhD, NP or PA in a health sciences-related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• 1 or more years’ experience in medical & scientific affairs, clinical practice, research, academic or US managed markets preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience for Principal/Associate Director MSL roles in medical & scientific affairs preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel up to 60%.

Responsibilities

• Present disease state and product-specific data to healthcare professionals.
• Respond to unsolicited requests for medical information.
• Identify investigators, study committees, speakers, and advisors for DSI programs and boards.
• Gather insights to inform medical and commercial decision-making.
• Attend scientific meetings for ongoing education and exchange with key opinion leaders.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align medical strategies with brand plans.
• Execute field activities and expense reporting as required.
• Represent the Medical Science Liaison function at meetings and events.
