The Oncology Field Medical Outcomes, Director is a field-based medical colleague responsible for providing therapeutic area/product expertise for a designated therapeutic in Oncology. The primary focus is on integrated customers, including but not limited to Integrated Delivery Networks, National Payers, Regional Payers, and Specialty Pharmacy Providers (SPPs). The role involves educating customers on the clinical and economic impact of Pfizer Oncology medicines and products, informing customer decision-making, and improving population health through data analyses, pharmacoeconomic evaluations, outcomes assessments, and medical presentations.
The responsibilities include planning and executing Oncology Medical strategies, developing medical content strategies, maintaining effective communication with headquarters and field colleagues, and engaging with healthcare decision-makers. The role also involves facilitating research collaborations, responding to medical inquiries, and supporting HIT initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Position is remote and field-based, with travel requirements. Salary ranges from $169,700 to $282,900, plus bonuses and benefits. Must have a valid US driver’s license and be within a 2-hour drive of a major airport. Flexibility to work weekends and travel 40-50% of the time is required.
