Job summary

United Energy Workers Healthcare is seeking a Medical Equipment Service Technician to deliver, install, and troubleshoot Durable Medical Equipment (DME) for energy workers and families. The role involves coordinating care and communicating clearly with patients, families, and caregivers, while maintaining a professional demeanor.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license for at least five years, and 1+ years in delivery or healthcare.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or G.E.D.
• 21+ years of age with a valid Driver’s License held for at least 5 years
• 1+ years of Delivery and/or Healthcare experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform strenuous work
• Basic phone/computer skills
• All candidates must possess a clean driving record and criminal background

Responsibilities

• Deliver and install Medical Equipment in a safe and timely manner
• Instruct patients, family members, and caregivers on equipment functions while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
• Minor repair and equipment troubleshooting while in the field
• Thorough and accurate completion of all orders in a web-based inventory management system
