Who You Will Be Working With:

You will join the clinical team as a Field Medical Director, collaborating with clinicians, physicians, pharmacists, health economists, and program coordinators to positively impact our members’ lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pre-admission review, utilization management, and review processes.
  • Participate in risk management, claim adjudication, pharmacy utilization, case review, and outreach programs.
  • Assist with executing benchmarking programs and clinical quality improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to the Appeals and Grievance processes to ensure timely, accurate responses.
  • Help design and implement health plan policies and care management goals.
  • Provide leadership in population health management and clinical program development.
  • Ensure appropriate healthcare delivery and manage medical costs for assigned populations.
  • Promote evidence-based care practices and participate in relevant committees.

Required Experience:

  • Board certification in an ABMS medical specialty.
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school, with an active, unrestricted medical license.
  • 3-5 years of clinical practice in primary care and medical administrative experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership with clinical credibility and teamwork skills.
  • Deep understanding of managed care concepts such as HMOs, risk arrangements, and patient-centered medical homes.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
  • Ability to operate effectively within a corporate matrix environment.

The base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $125,000, with eligibility for performance-based bonuses and comprehensive benefits. Salary offers depend on experience and qualifications.
