Job summary

Accelera Staffing seeks a hands-on Mechanical and Electrical Installation Technician to lead field-based assembly, setup, and verification of high-tech machinery for pharma-related projects. This role involves frequent travel, with Indianapolis, IN as the preferred base, and local project work where possible.

You will follow manuals and schematics to install mechanicals, electrical wiring, and pneumatic systems, perform FAT/SAT support, run tests, and document milestones.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in mechanical/electrical systems, industrial technology, or equivalent field experience.
• Able to interpret technical documentation, electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings.
• Experience using power tools for equipment assembly or troubleshooting.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install mechanical hardware per manuals and blueprints.
• Set up electrical components, control systems, wiring, and pneumatic devices.
• Interpret mechanical drawings, pneumatic diagrams, and electrical schematics to guide installation.
• Connect and label electrical hardware to meet precise requirements.
• Perform functional tests on subassemblies and support FAT/SAT on site.
