Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technician for a 5+ month, 100% onsite assignment in Indianapolis. The role involves assembling, testing, and packaging complex devices, building cable harnesses, and supporting large automation systems.

Candidates should have an Associate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology (or 5+ years HS with relevant experience), experience reading schematics, and proficiency with precision measuring tools.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• 5 years of experience assembling electromechanical devices and/or electrical components.
• Experience reading wiring schematics.
• Ability to work onsite in Indianapolis.

Responsibilities

• Assembling and testing complex devices consisting of mechanical and electrical components.
• Building cable harnesses and other electrical assemblies.
• Assembling complex kits using custom packaging.
• Working with engineers to manage inventory for high-demand products.
• Assisting with packaging and skidding items for shipment to customer sites.
• Assisting with setup and teardown of large automation systems.
