Job summary

MYR Group, Inc. in Wisconsin seeks a Field Mechanic to travel to project sites across the designated service area, performing maintenance, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs safely and professionally.

You may advance toward higher-level roles in our Fleet Department while delivering exceptional service to internal customers. The role requires travel within Wisconsin, potentially overnight, with a company vehicle, fuel card, and lodging provided.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in general mobile heavy truck repair or equipment repair.
• Or completed vocational/technical school program or apprenticeship in vehicle and equipment repair with four years of experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on fleet equipment following manufacturer guidelines.
• Travel to customer sites for repair and maintenance; keep service vehicle clean and organized.
• May oversee less experienced mechanics when assigned.
• Maintain records of time, materials, and repairs performed; ensure accurate logs.
