Job summary

Empire Southwest is seeking seasoned shop and field technicians to join our third-generation, family-owned organization. Repair, recondition, and service Caterpillar and allied machines in the field, diagnose malfunctions, prepare equipment for delivery, and work in varying weather conditions.

This role requires English proficiency, a valid driver's license, DOT licensing, medical card, and willingness to travel to remote locations.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• DOT licensing, medical card, and endorsements as vehicle size dictates.
• Minimum of 6 months related experience.
• Must be able to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and failures.
• Maintain good client relations and support for corporate marketing objectives.
• Repair, recondition, and maintain equipment and components.
• Prepare service reports.
• Plan and control cost of repair jobs.
• Maintain company equipment – keep in good clean orderly condition.
• Work safely at all times. Adhere to all applicable safety policies. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
