Job summary

Empire Southwest is seeking seasoned shop and field technicians to service Caterpillar and Empire machinery across Arizona mine sites. Roles involve diagnosing, repairing, and reconditioning equipment, with travel to remote locations and extended overnight stays as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have six months of related experience in a similar role and environment.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend English.

• Able to complete the eTRAIN skills assessment.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent client service skills.
• Own and maintain required personal tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and failures.
• Repair, recondition and service Caterpillar and Empire equipment in field and shop settings.
• Prepare service reports and document work performed.
• Plan and control costs for repair jobs.
• Travel to remote locations as needed and work overtime as required.
