Job summary

PACK Power, LLC is seeking a Field Mechanic to support daily project operations nationwide. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose defects, and repair heavy equipment including plowing and trenching machines, ensuring a clean and safe fleet on multiple sites.

The role requires a high school diploma, CDL B (A preferred), and 2+ years of field experience. You will coordinate with the Construction Manager and Lead Mechanic, travel regularly, and receive per diem and a company truck.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• CDL B required; CDL A preferred.
• 2+ years of experience on heavy equipment.
• Team-oriented and receptive to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment and vehicles.
• Support site operations and assist CM/Lead Mechanic as needed.
• Welding, hard-facing or fabricating wear components as required.
• Inspect equipment, diagnose defects, and arrange parts.
• Complete and review inspection forms and DOT inspections.
