Austin Bridge & Road is currently seeking experienced Field Mechanics - San Antonio, Texas projects. We excel at what we do and are looking for talented construction professionals that want to excel with us.

Great opportunity for a heavy equipment Field Mechanic with at least 3 years of service and repair experience.

Responsibilities

1. Perform daily equipment inspections
2. Follow all safety policies and procedures
3. Work hours adjusted to meet the project’s needs; days, nights and weekends
4. Able to work in adverse weather conditions, hot or cold temperatures
5. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Mechanical aptitude with required knowledge of:

• Diesel engines
• Transmissions
• Electrical systems
• Hydraulic systems
• Must have a strong commitment to jobsite safety
• Diligent in demonstrating safe work practices
• Experience with asphalt and concrete paving equipment preferred
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States. Austin Bridge & Road is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position

Qualifications Required for this Position:

Education – no minimum education requirements.

Experience – 1-3 years of operating equipment in a Construction setting.

Must pass drug screen, and Physical.
