Job summary

Skyworks LLC in Midland, TX is seeking an experienced Mechanic to service construction equipment at customer job sites. You will maintain the branch's equipment fleet and diagnose issues on-site.

Responsibilities include routine inspections, preventive maintenance, testing, and keeping detailed maintenance and warranty records. Independence and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Electrical and hydraulic experience.
• Experience repairing construction equipment (JLG, Takeuchi, Kubota, Genie, JCB preferred).
• Certifications of Cummins, Deutz, Kubota engines a plus.
• Customer service experience.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving history.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance and testing.

The Skyworks Midland branch needs an experienced A Mechanic to work on our equipment at customer job sites.

Duties and responsibilities for Mechanic:

• maintain the branch's equipment fleet
• diagnose and fix issues with equipment at a customer's job site
• inspect diesel engines, equipment hydraulics, and electrical systems to determine needs for repair or replacement of parts
• conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and equipment testing
• prepare and maintain accurate records on the maintenance and repair of equipment, including warranty records
• ability to work well independently with excellent communication skills
