Job summary

Mechanics Hub is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Technicians in the Merced, CA area. Candidates should have 2+ years of diagnostic, repair, and maintenance experience on heavy equipment, with preference for 5+ years of agricultural equipment. Diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and OEM diagnostic software skills are valued.

OT and field work may apply. We offer a take-home service truck, fuel card, cell phone, laptop, comprehensive benefits, and ongoing factory training.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of heavy-duty construction or Agriculture equipment diagnostic, repair, and maintenance experience.
• Diesel engine maintenance and repair experience.
• Experience using OEM diagnostic software to troubleshoot faults.
• Hydraulic and electrical component maintenance, replacement, and repair.
• AC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide variety of heavy equipment at customer sites and in the shop.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Utilize OEM diagnostic tools to troubleshoot faults and verify repairs.
• Work independently and with customers in a field service environment.
