Papé Machinery, the premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is seeking a Field Mechanic to join their team in Donald, OR. Responsibilities

• Work on agricultural equipment at customer locations, ensuring repairs are accurate and timely to maximize customer uptime.
• Analyze and diagnose malfunctions or failures in the field.
• Repair, replace, or rebuild engines, transmissions, hydraulic components, electrical systems, and air systems.
• Perform welding and fabrication work as needed.
• Travel in a fully equipped service vehicle to perform quality work and interact with customers.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing heavy, preferably agricultural, equipment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a good record; CDL preferred.
• Own tools required.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly pay: $34.48-51.72 (depending on experience) + significant overtime potential. Overtime is encouraged during busy seasons, with pay over 8 hours/day or 40 hours/week, and double-time over 12 hours/day. Average overtime hours exceed 250 annually.
