Job summary

Phillips 66 is seeking a Measurement Technician to ensure accurate measurement of volumes and identify preventative maintenance needs. The role covers measurement assets from Ector through Midland County, focusing on flow computers, sampling, and LACT units.

You will perform complex calibration, troubleshooting, and repair tasks, train new staff, and support regulatory reporting. The position requires field work, on-call availability, and strict adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• High school diploma or GED completed
• Valid driver’s license
• Willing to relocate within 35 miles of reporting locations
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
• Willing to work overtime and on-call rotations
• Work in loud environments and in varying weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Perform complex calibration, troubleshooting, and repair tasks.
• Identify discrepancies and resolve issues (L&U, quality shifts).
• Train and mentor new or less skilled employees.
• Measure flow in low and high-pressure gathering systems.
• Install, program, calibrate EFM computers and sampling systems.
• Collect liquid samples and manage sampling systems.
• Witness tank and LACT skid proving.
• Maintain and repair meter equipment and communications gear.
• Respond to emergencies as part of the response team.
• Complete timesheets, test tickets, and regulatory reports accurately.
