Job summary

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is seeking a Technician, Measurement (Kenedy, TX) to support high and low pressure gathering systems. The role involves installing, calibrating and maintaining EFM flow computers, transmitters and chromatographs, and collecting gas/liquid samples at remote sites.

You will calculate flow rates, plan work with other departments, and ensure accurate reporting while upholding safety and reliability standards in a dynamic field environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical certification or equivalent training in a mechanical environment or energy-related field preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required.
• Must demonstrate mechanical aptitude and dexterity in use of tools and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment; strong work ethic and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Install, program and calibrate EFM flow computers, change orifice plates and transmitters.
• Calculate volume rates and sizes of orifice plates to set flow rates.
• Collect gas and liquid samples and install sampling systems.
• Install, operate and maintain gas and liquid chromatographs.
• Acquire site information using stain tubes or electronic devices for H2S, CO2, O2, water content and nitrogen.
• Develop and maintain meter test schedules and install equipment from drawings and manuals.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures using voltmeters and test equipment.
• Coordinate work with other departments to ensure timely completion of installations.
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot EFM radio telemetry systems and process controls.
• Interact with landowners and field personnel; ensure safety and compliance.
