Job summary

Spire is seeking a Field Measurement Supervisor in Saint Louis, MO to direct the day-to-day work installing, maintaining, and replacing Electronic Commercial and Industrial meters across multiple locations. You will supervise field crews and ensure safety, quality, and on-time completion.

This role requires hands-on leadership, experience with metering concepts, and the ability to coordinate with engineers, sales, and operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience in overall company operations preferred.
• Knowledge of natural gas metering and measurement concepts preferred.
• Experience supervising personnel and coordinating field work with enterprise systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of safety plans for the department.
• Provide leadership to support transformational change with metering technology.
• Organize work for crews and coordinate materials, equipment, and personnel.
• Inspect sites and discuss plans with stakeholders before starting projects.
• Manage timekeeping, reports, and weekly progress updates.
• Train employees on meter and measurement procedures and standards.
• Rotate a weekly off-hour call schedule, up to 1408 hours per year.
• Develop departmental procedures and training materials.
