Job summary

Spire Inc. seeks a Supervisor, Field Operations in Shrewsbury, MO to oversee and coordinate field operations including construction, maintenance, and pipeline activities. You will assist administrators and manage daily regional operations in alignment with company policy and safety standards.

The role requires coordinating schedules, safety training, and performance monitoring, with responsibility for up to 30 contract employees and collaboration across departments to meet goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Missouri Class E License or equivalent and driving record must be clean.
• 2 years of field experience in physical duties preferred.
• Knowledge of policies, procedures, standards and OQ requirements.
• Knowledge of HR, collective bargaining and personnel procedures.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate shared equipment and resources.
• Oversee the implementation of plans to attain departmental goals.
• Review jobs, blueprints, sites, priorities, and ensure materials/equipment are available.
• Meet contractors and municipalities; schedule start dates.
• Coordinate activities with other departments to maximize efficiency.
• Assist in preparing and implementing the department's business plan.
• Prepare and coordinate all safety activities for the region.
• Review and complete safety and manpower reports, tickets and timesheets.
• Monitor crew performance to meet business unit objectives.
• Schedule training (OQ, Fire, Hearing, Halt, Respirator).
• Observe and evaluate new employees.
• Oversee health and safety for the region.
