Job summary

Avir Trilogy is seeking a Field Clinical Reimbursement Coordinator to deliver hands-on MDS reimbursement support across facilities. This role requires extensive travel and a minimum of four on-site days per week to ensure accurate coding, documentation, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced MDS professional, highly independent, and capable of improving workflows while educating facility teams across the geographic market.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 2–3 years of skilled nursing MDS experience.
• Strong knowledge of MDS 3.0 and RAI Manual.
• Working knowledge of Medicare Part A and PDPM.
• Able to manage MDS schedules independently.
• Willingness to travel extensively and meet company travel requirements.
• Facility-facing role requiring four days per week on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct MDS and reimbursement support to facilities.
• Review assessments for accuracy and supporting documentation.
• Assist with Medicare Part A and PDPM processes.
• Support PDPM-LTC reimbursement and acuity capture.
• Coach and educate MDS coordinators and staff.
• Identify documentation gaps and reimbursement opportunities.
• Maintain communication with Clinical Reimbursement Manager.
