Braun Intertec Corporation seeks a Construction Materials Testing Technician to join our Urbandale office, performing and reporting on testing, observations, and inspections of soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt for commercial projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction materials testing experience.
• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Certification.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving history.
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 50–75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to complex sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry, and asphalt.
• Provide clear documentation of field activities entered daily in electronic format.
• Work with project team and lead technicians to ensure project specifications are followed.
• Assist with training & mentoring of junior staff, as needed.
