Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 0-2 years of related experience in construction, materials testing, inspection, engineering technology, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing and observations for soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, masonry, and related materials.
• Collect material samples and transport them to the laboratory for testing and analysis, as needed.
• Document daily field activities, observations, test results, site conditions, and contractor work in clear, accurate field reports.
• Communicate test results, field observations, and potential non-compliance issues to project managers, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Read and follow project plans, specifications, testing procedures, and written or verbal instructions.
• Operate, maintain, and properly care for field testing equipment and tools.
• Follow company safety procedures and jobsite safety requirements at all times.
• Pursue relevant certifications such as ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade I, nuclear gauge safety, DOT testing certifications, OSHA 10-hour.
