Job summary

WSP Global Inc. in Atlanta, GA is seeking experienced Construction Materials Testing Technicians to perform field inspections on commercial, industrial, and transportation projects.

You will interpret plans, perform concrete testing per ASTM/ACI, and prepare daily field reports with density calculations. The role requires ICC soils or equivalent, ACI Field Level I, valid driver's license, and the ability to work flexible hours outdoors; safety policies must be followed and documentation prepared

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and understand site grading drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing on general building sites and facilities.
• Interpret project plans and specifications for compliance with project requirements.
• Perform sampling and testing of concrete per ASTM and ACI standards.
• Prepare and submit written field reports summarizing daily activities and density calculations.
• Test and work in accordance with Company safety policies.
• Monitor work procedures for compliance with project specifications.
• Interact with client representatives on project sites.
• Perform analysis or calculations to check accuracy and reasonableness of testing data.
