Job summary

DIHO Consulting USA in Cedar Creek, TX is seeking an Entry-Level Construction Materials Testing Technician to join our field team. Training will be provided and you can get certified as you gain experience in materials testing.

This role involves performing field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and pile monitoring to ensure compliance with project specifications. ACI, NICET, or TxDOT certifications are preferred and opportunities for advancement exist.

Qualifications

• Over 1 year of experience in construction or construction materials testing.
• Must have dependable transportation; truck preferred.
• Able to pass a DISA drug screen.
• Able to pass a background check.
• TWIC card preferred.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and equipment.
• Capable of on-call schedule and willing to work variable hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform field tests (concrete, soils, asphalt) per specs.
• Monitor pile capacity, penetration, and blow counts.
• Produce timely, detailed reports.
• Operate vehicle safely and follow safety procedures.
• Coordinate with technical team and clients.
• Arrive at job sites on time and communicate with dispatch.
