DIHO Consulting USA is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Technician for field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and related materials in Cedar Creek, TX. You will support project teams by documenting tests, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with specifications and industry standards.

The role requires completion of field testing procedures, a valid ACI/NICET or TxDOT certification is preferred, with 2+ years of experience and a readiness to work outdoors and on an on-call

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of Construction Materials Testing experience.
• Experience with soils, concrete, asphalt, and field testing procedures.
• ACI certification (strongly preferred).
• NICET, TxDOT, or related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing of construction materials, including soils, concrete, asphalt, and related materials.
• Conduct concrete testing, including slump, air content, temperature, unit weight, and casting cylinders for compressive strength testing.
• Perform soil compaction testing using sand cone or nuclear density gauge.
• Complete Proctor testing, Atterberg limits, sieve analysis, and other soil classification tests, as applicable.
• Monitor pile installation to document capacity, penetration, and blow counts.
• Prepare accurate, timely, and detailed field and laboratory reports.
• Communicate daily with dispatch, management, technical staff, and onsite clients.
