DIHO Consulting USA LLC in Cedar Creek, TX is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Technician to perform field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and related materials. You will assess testing procedures per project specs and client requirements, delivering clear field and lab reports.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of CM testing experience with soils/concrete/asphalt, and hold or pursue ACI/NICET/TxDOT certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in construction materials testing.
• Experience with soils, concrete, asphalt testing procedures.
• ACI certification preferred.
• NICET or TxDOT certifications preferred.
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record.
• Able to pass a DISA drug screen and background check.
• TWIC card preferred.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and testing equipment.
• Willing to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing of construction materials, including soils, concrete, asphalt, and related materials.
• Conduct concrete testing, including slump, air content, temperature, unit weight, and casting cylinders for compressive strength testing.
• Perform soil compaction testing using sand cone or nuclear density gauge.
• Monitor pile installation to document capacity, penetration, and blow counts.
• Prepare accurate, timely, and detailed field and laboratory reports.
• Communicate daily with dispatch, management, technical staff, and onsite clients.
• Relay jobsite updates, issues, and project information to management in a timely manner.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, and project teams.
• Arrive on time to assigned job sites and complete testing responsibilities professionally.
