Job summary

DIHO Consulting USA in Sulphur, LA is seeking an Entry-Level Construction Materials Testing Technician to perform field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and pile monitoring in accordance with project specifications.

Preferred candidates have ACI, NICET, or TxDOT certifications and a valid driver’s license; ability to pass a DISA drug screen and background check; willing to work flexible hours and travel as needed; strong teamwork skills are welcome.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Construction or Construction Materials Testing.
• Must have dependable transportation, a truck is preferable as there is an incentive program to use it for work
• TwIC card preferred
• Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and equipment
• Capable of maintaining an On Call schedule and willing to work obscure hours

Responsibilities

• Perform field tests such as soils, concrete, asphalt, and pile monitoring.
• Produce timely and detailed reports.
• Operate vehicle in a safe manner and follow safety procedures.
• Follow all company procedures and protocols.
• Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization.
• Build positive relationships with clients.
• Arrive at job sites on time and communicate with dispatch daily.
• Relay information to management.
