Job summary

DIHO Consulting USA in Sulphur, LA seeks a Construction Materials Testing Technician to perform field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and pile monitoring to ensure project specifications are met. The role requires hands-on testing experience, dependable transportation, and the ability to pass a DISA drug screen and background check.

Certifications such as ACI, NICET, or TxDOT are preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Construction Materials Testing.
• Must have dependable transportation; a truck is preferred.
• Must be able to pass a DISA drug screen and a background check.
• TWIC card preferred.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and equipment.
• Capable of maintaining an on-call schedule and willing to work variable hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform field tests such as concrete testing, soil compaction testing, Proctor/Atterberg/sieve analysis, asphalt density testing and pile monitoring.
• Produce timely and detailed reports.
• Operate company vehicle safely and follow safety procedures at all times.
• Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization.
• Build positive relationships with clients.
• Arrive on site on time and communicate with dispatch and management.
